TWIN SZN 4EVER: A Review

            Rapidly growing underground artists Ultrasmith and SoC, formely known as Dtd have released their long-anticipated album, expected to be their masterpiece. One of our What's Next PDX journalists got an exclusive listen to the album before its release. This album was 7 months in the making, that's right seven mothns.Here's a full review for TWN SZN 4EVER:

1. Action- Soc assured me the intro sound better with headphones and that the mixing is fine. Shoutout Amanda for letting everybody in,

2. Stack the Bread-  the beat is west coast and a 10/10, the chorus is generic and fits good. Both SoC and Ultrasmith started jumping up and down at the song's peak and then Ultrasmith started hitting the robot, both went crazy. Ultrasmith was the strongest with his flow. The track is a lil hard but in a balanced way , overall they used every piece of the beat didn’t waste anything

3. IN THEY DM'S- Didnt know these niggas could even do west coast beats but they fill the ambience which often lacks in current west coast tracks. Sock was the dominant player on dis song with his tone and it sounded natural

4.   3-12-25 -  they keep saying sup to each other like they performing Onna stage, beat is crazy again, they missed the beats potential tho. keisha 

5. Pop 1 - Very hard yaaaaaa pop one pop one . fun easy to follow, beat is great possible revolutionary for trap and asap rocky needs to drop or die (unrelated ). The beginning of SoC's verses misled me to thinkin the song was abt to be weak

6. Serenade Freestyle - hard detroit vibe. The mixing is class. fun lyrics 9/10 song less than a minute in, stomp to this when you bump it, 310babii typa beat lowkey but not the old 310babii 

7. Chainsmokin' -  utilised this beat to best extent ultra started sweating, soc is notably strong on this song . Dude! This goes crazy

8. Chopped Cheese - Unique and creative beat + flow from Ultrasmith is great. The first half of the song never felt empty. SoC's half used  the full extent of the beat especially, both performed crazy on this track.

9. Arrogance/Ignorance - some white ppl and whitewashed black ppl would go rabid for this song, good shift in theme, song would holdup for another generation guaranteed.

10. The Fire - these niggas just started sittin down cuz apparently it’s so fire they standing up now, this some rock shit. nvm the beat dropped, Sock was hitting them notes. , you’d hear this on 102.9, the  beat is wild,  SoC is sweating now. They accidently overhyped it icl but still good

11. Twinerlude -  The plane trip to Cabo werent all that itneresting as they claim

12. CABO - SoC turned into a Latino nigga on this 

13. The Fire 2 - Edges near the line of pop or pop rock or sum shit .ultra smith might’ve carried this one

14. Credits-   very creative way to end rhe album i shed a tear
